Maharashtra train accident, 12 lives lost due to rumor spread by tea seller


An investigation revealed that the reason for the accident near Jalgaon in Maharashtra was the rumor spread by a tea seller on the train. A person who sold tea on the Pushpak train claimed that the train had caught fire and a person pulled the emergency chain.

Meanwhile, the other passengers got down and ran, when the Karnataka Express train, which was traveling on another track, hit them.
