On the occasion of Republic Day, Vijay's Tamil Nadu Victory Association party has been invited to a tea party at the Governor's House. The invitation was given on the basis of being a registered political party, the Governor's House said. Earlier, parties including Congress, VISA, Madhyamik, CPI(M) had announced that they would boycott the Governor's tea party.
