₹1,294 reward for killing a crocodile; This country decided to kill 1.2 lakh iguanas, do you know where?

The government of Taiwan has decided to kill about 1.2 lakh green iguanas. There are more than 2 lakh iguanas here. These iguanas have increased in central & southern areas of Taiwan and have caused severe damage to agriculture. Also, a reward of ₹1,294 is given for killing one ungulate. Last year alone, the country's government killed about 70,000 iguanas.

These iguanas live up to 20 years and female iguanas lay up to 80 eggs at a time.
