Central government notice to Ola, Uber regarding different pricing of Apple and Android phones

Union Consumer Affairs Minister Prakalat Joshi posted on X that the Department of Consumer Affairs has issued a notice through CCPA to Ola & Uber regarding the blatantly different pricing based on the usage of different mobile models (iPhone/Android). Earlier, there were complaints that these operators charged iPhone users more than Android users for a single ride.
