The Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority has called for a contract for the construction of a permanent jallikattu stadium at a cost of ₹3 crore at Periya Suriyur, Trichy. It has been said that the application can be made before 4.00 pm on February 4 and the work should be completed within 270 days from the date of awarding the contract and handing over the site. It is an integrated playground for playing various sports.
