The parents of RG Khar Hospital doctor who was raped and murdered last year did not demand death sentence for Sanjay Roy, who was sentenced to life imprisonment in the case, their lawyer Karki Goswami told the Kolkata High Court. "Just because their daughter is dead does not mean that the accused should also die," Goswami said.
