Senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi urged in the Rajya Sabha to complete the census as soon as possible.
Beneficiaries are identified as per the 2011 census under the National Food Security Act, under which 14 crore people have not received benefits as the census has not been conducted for more than 4 years while free food grains per person are available, he said.
