Union Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh said in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday that about 22 lakh dog bite incidents have taken place in the country in 2024 and 5 lakh of the victims are children below 15 years of age. Singh said that in 2024, there will be 21,95,122 dog bite incidents, resulting in 37 deaths.
