Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that India is the second largest producer of cell phones in the world. He said that in 2014 there were only 2 manufacturing centers in the country but now there are 300 manufacturing centers and 99.2% of the cell phones sold in India are made in India. He also said that India's product value in 2024 will be 4,22,000 crores.
