Former Prime Minister Morarji Desai presented 10 budgets, making him the record holder for presenting the most number of budgets in Indian history.

Former Finance Minister P. Chidambaram presented 9 budgets. Former President Pranab Mukherjee presented the budget 8 times when he was the Finance Minister. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the budget for the 8th consecutive time on Saturday.
